But its desire to bring that popularity to the world of fashion is completely unexpected. This is La Bizumería, a limited edition with added humor. "Most of the things that happen to us are motivated by popular demand, and La Bizumería is no exception. Over the years, every time we released a very limited edition product, demand usually far exceeded the available supply, so we decided to open this space for responsible and cool clothing so that no one would miss out on their Bizum item." This is how La Bizumería has been presented: an online store dedicated to selling limited edition clothing with original designs that use humor to win the hearts (and Bizums) of its customers. As you can see on their newly launched website, at La Bizumería you'll find three t-shirt designs, three sweatshirt designs, and one pair of socks made by Minimalism Brand. An unusual shop, with an unusual partner The choice of Minimalism as a partner also gives this initiative another unique touch. Minimalism Brand was founded in 2017 with the goal of redefining the fashion industry, one of the most polluting in the world. According to its co-CEO and founder, Pepe Martín, the brand's vision is not just to sell clothes, but also to encourage consumers to reflect on their purchasing habits. Instead of accumulating multiple garments, they propose buying fewer but of better quality, aligning themselves with a more sustainable and minimalist approach. In fact, La Bizumería's garments are made with organic cotton as a measure of respect for the environment, and are produced in factories in Portugal that meet sustainability standards. In Bizum's words, it's a "selection of limited-edition garments, made in Europe from 100% organic cotton, to generate minimal impact on the planet and maximum impact in the club. Our collection is committed to style, as well as the environment and society." Of course, you'll have to pay with Bizum. Reading the purchase conditions for La Bizumería, there's a section that stands out, but if you think about it, it makes perfect sense. As the brand itself humorously explains, they only accept payment through Bizum: "It's a Bizum store, so exclusively Bizum. We're the preferred method for individuals, and now we want your shopping experience to be just as smooth and secure in eCommerce as well. You only need your phone number; a notification will arrive in your banking app to validate or decline the payment."
