Meta has unveiled its new Enterprise Platform, a division designed to bring its AI-based tools to businesses and developers worldwide. In his announcement, Mark Zuckerberg explained that with this platform, they aim to “help businesses use AI to grow and transform in innovative ways.”
According to Zuckerberg, in this initial phase, Meta’s new division will focus on offering its suite of technology services (Muse, Meta Business Agent, the Muse API, Muse Code, etc.) to businesses and developers. Zuckerberg stated that Meta will leverage “strengths that few other companies have: advanced models, leading agents, large-scale infrastructure, and years of close collaboration with many companies.” To this end, the company will have Chirantan “CJ” Desai, former CEO of the MongoDB database management system, as Director of the platform.
For his part, Desai explained that Meta Enterprise Platform will focus on transforming its suite of AI tools into products and services that businesses can implement within their own operations. “Just like with Muse, security and privacy are built into Meta’s enterprise products from the ground up. Our goal is to make Meta the go-to platform for businesses to scale their operations,” he wrote.
It’s clear that Meta needs to recoup the enormous amount of resources it has been investing in developing artificial intelligence tools over the past two years. After the failures of previous ventures like the Metaverse, and with its smart glasses already labeled by some US consumers as “pervert glasses,” the Meta team is looking for a strategy that will generate the necessary return. Hence the extensive list of new features presented just a few days ago at the Meta Connect event, all centered around Muse and numerous new features related to its new agent, from its integration into AI glasses to new connectors with services like Shopify.

For years, this process was manual and tedious. Now, conversational assistants allow users to ask questions in natural language and receive a curated selection of pre-compared options, along with th...
In March, Amazon launched Global Warehousing and Distribution (GWD) as an international extension of its warehousing and distribution service. The first major hub opened in Shenzhen, China, and Amazon later expanded the network with facilities in other parts of China: Shanghai and Ningbo. The goal of this service was to make it easier for sellers to store inventory near the point of manufacture, instead of shipping it in advance to each country w...
