While Google was heavily investing in models like Gemini (formerly Bard) and its integration across its entire ecosystem (Search, Ads, Workspace), and Apple was advancing with its on-device AI approach and its Apple Intelligence offering, Mark Zuckerberg's giant had been using artificial intelligence within its platform for years (campaign optimization, segmentation, delivery algorithms), but without its own generative, cross-functional, and user-friendly tool. Manus can analyze other data sources and ad libraries from platforms like LinkedIn, TikTok, and the Google Ads ecosystem, allowing for a much more holistic view of the competitive landscape. Key Connectors In Spain, in March 2026, two connectors were launched that I consider particularly relevant: - Instagram Connector: This allows you to connect your Instagram account to generate content ideas, plan calendars, and automate posts (posts, stories, and reels). Furthermore, with good prompting, it can generate basic creative assets that can serve as a starting point for content teams.
-Meta Ads Connector: especially interesting from a performance perspective. It allows you to directly connect Meta Ads accounts with Manus to analyze performance, detect optimization opportunities using natural language, and automate report generation. With this tool, tasks that previously required hours of analysis can be resolved in minutes: from identifying spending inefficiencies to proposing new creative approaches or improvements to campaign structure. There is also another interesting connector, currently unavailable in the European Union, that connects Manus with the Meta Creators Marketplace. This connector scans and analyzes creator profiles to recommend collaborations. In the EU, this requires explicit and granular consent from European creators, which has not yet been fully implemented in the API infrastructure for third-party AI tools like Manus. In other countries, however, this connection facilitates the more efficient integration of influencer marketing into paid media strategies, reducing friction in profile selection and increasing the likelihood of real business impact. Differences with Meta AI Business Assistant In parallel, Meta has also launched its Meta AI Business Assistant, a solution more focused on direct interaction with advertisers within its platforms. Unlike Manus, which acts as an advanced layer for analytics, automation, and connection between tools, the Business Assistant functions as a conversational assistant integrated into the Meta environment itself, focused on resolving queries, suggesting configurations, and facilitating daily campaign management. It is useful for tactical and operational tasks, while Manus provides a more strategic, cross-functional approach connected to the rest of the technology stack. With this tool, tasks that previously required hours of analysis can be resolved in minutes: from detecting inefficiencies to proposing new creative approaches or improvements to campaign structure. Integrations Beyond Meta Furthermore, Manus integrates with a broad ecosystem of tools: from the Google Workspace suite to project management tools like Slack and ClickUp, automation platforms like Zapier and Make, CRMs like HubSpot, and design tools like Canva. It also allows connection to third-party services via its own APIs, which greatly expands its capabilities. This includes models and tools such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, Perplexity AI, ElevenLabs, and automation platforms like n8n. This openness allows for the construction of much more advanced workflows, combining different technologies according to the needs of each use case. The possibilities are virtually endless, as with any AI-based technology. However, the true competitive advantage lies not only in the tool itself, but also in the ability to define the right questions, structure prompts effectively, and transform the outputs into strategic decisions that impact the business.
